Physical Health Habits

I want to start off by saying I have quite a few physical health issues. To list them, I deal with fatty liver, probably IBS and PCOS (getting that checked on soon), Im pre-diabetic, and I’m overweight. I have ignored them for quite a while. Recently I have started to actually pay attention to it. I gained 30 pounds in three months. Thats a lot. Thats crazy.

I started on medication for weightless, metformin. I take it every morning and night, I hope it helps as my insurance covers all but a dollar or so. I have been walking a minimum of 5k steps a day, usually getting to 8k-10k. I have been going to the gym with my sister and started cutting out any added sugars. I have stayed the same weight so far but I have only been on it for a week, it will start. kicking in soon.

whether it be stuffed peppers, a nice turkey sandwich, or a big salad, cooking for yourself makes eating healthy fun. especially if you have an intolerance for a lot of food. i personally cannot eat red meat and a few other things due to my liver disease and pre diabetes. to counteract these issues, i eat a lot of beans and fish (even if the fish is just canned salmon, tuna, or sardines).
